Discover Ancient Egypt
This combined activity offers a comprehensive educational experience: a guided tour of the permanent collection at the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona followed by a hands-on workshop in the classroom, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of mummification.
During the visit, students will learn the most relevant aspects of pharaonic culture: the figure of the pharaoh and his society, daily life, the funerary world, art, myths, magic and religion. This tour takes place through the museum's different spaces and is led by an educator specialized in ancient Egypt.
The follow-up workshop, held in the classroom, expands knowledge with audiovisual support and a workbook about mummification.
